i appricate your work for ranchi.com. but i want know what happaned about ranchis' internet connection, there is so many problems in our ranchi's VSNL server.whether it is solved or not. i think it very necessary a good ISP OR ISDN connections for bussiness and other area. |

We put your email up, as we get other similar emails like this. So, we can answer all at once.
Ranchi.com is purely a website built by the philanthropy of Nath Hospital.
It does not provide internet connections, nor does it ever intend to do so.
Its only objective is to place Ranchi securely on the internet map with modern website and provide people of Ranchi, Jharkhand information, easily.
However, we do hope that some business can provide connections for businesses. |

If you wish to sell anything on Ranchi.com. I would recommend you get in touch with sheo@ranchi.com.
He will be able to set up your goods on Ranchi.com for a service charge.
Another way is for you design the webpage. We will then add it to Ranchi.com free of charge.

Probably soon you will start a shopping section in your site. Please be careful to mention your prices in Indian rupee and not in dollars. Do not assume that this site is being used only by Indians earning in dollars. People holding Indian credit cards can not use such sites if billed in dollars.
I was surprised to find the prices mentioned in dollars in Ranchi express site (with a lousy shopping section). It makes fun of the Indian people and currency. You can learn from Rediff, Indiawonders etc. Then you can cater to the Jharkhand area in a better way. Probably delivering in same day in this area.

We'll try to do our best. However, just wanted to disagree, with your impressions of shopping at Ranchi Express. We think they've done a great job. Its not fair to compare them (and definitely not us), with a huge company like rediff.

Hi Guys, Congratulations for coming up with a portal for Ranchi.Lets use it effectively for the betterment of Ranchi.Be it improving infrastructure there,life style of people,making people take initiative to improve there areas(colony etc).This can be done through various means by acknowleding there contributions here.Lets make this a site for people of Ranchi and so that the people who actually feel towards betterment of Ranchi can contribute both online and offline.U wouldn't be having mass with u now but u will get the recognition and effective following if u the message is rightly put across that its for the people of Ranchi.The bottomline is let it be for people of Ranchi,I mean take initiatives towards betterment of Ranchi and its people.There are lots of people all round the world, india,and also in Ranchi who have had their education from the esteemed institutions in Ranchi ,having soft corner for Ranchi who would like to do lots for Ranchi.These people would come out in a big way if they see that some concrete initiatives are taken in this direction.
Don't mind my format of putting the above point,i just spoke my heart out.But the point is lets do something great for Ranchi which has the potential and deserves being one of the best cities around. |
